Of the things I do outside of work, eating and drinking out with my wife Megan, and/or friends, is my #1-favorite thing to do. It’s what lead to this blog’s existence.
Another thing we spend our time on is philanthropy, which leads to my disclaimer that I recently joined the board of the American Red Cross of the Sioux Empire, and you should know that when I tell you below about the Dining for Disaster event this week.
Well, now that’s out of the way…
This week, April 22-26, is a great opportunity for all us lovers of multi-tasking, because we can raise money for the American Red Cross WHILE we’re just out eating.
Costs us nothing extra. The restaurants are taking care of that, as more than 35 area restaurants have committed to donate a portion of their proceeds from diners this week.
So if you’re going to go out anyway, you can pick one of these places, and help the American Red Cross with their relief services here in South Dakota.
