One thing to try: Queso Sticks from Boss’
I’ve dogged on Boss’ Pizza and Chicken a bit in the past, but I have to give them some dues for helping me out this weekend.
All Megan and I wanted was a breakfast pizza. Well, that and to not go outside in the single-digit temps and snowing skies. It’s cold!
And as far as I know we didn’t have any options for breakfast pizza. The Skipping Stone folks at the Farmers Market are awesome, but, again, it’s winter. We could have ordered more than $20 worth of stuff including a pizza bagel from Bagel Boy, but there are only two of us, and day-old bagels are fine-but-not great.
Enter: Boss’.
They delivered a breakfast pizza! Eggs, cheese sauce, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, mozzarella, cheddar, bacon and two veggies of your choice (we went with just jalapenos on half). And it was good; I’d recommend it.
But this post is about the appetizer we added onto the order: the Queso Sticks. Spicy, creamy cheese covered in a combination of breading, spices and crumbled tortilla chips, these things were awesome! Think Mexican Mozzarella Sticks. Think yum. Think about ordering them.
