Top Chef: Just Desserts winner opening shop in downtown Sioux Falls

This just in from the Sioux Falls Business Journal:

Chris Hanmer, winner of the second season of “Top Chef: Just Desserts” is opening up a shop downtown in the old New York Express Pizza place. It will be called CH Patisserie.

Hanmer’s wife is originally from Sioux Falls.

From the story:

“It will offer desserts such as French macaroons, bonbons and varieties of cookies and other sweets.

“It’s just that the public has become so much more educated now that Sioux Falls is ready for this experience,” Hanmer said. “It’s going to be packaged, and it’s going to be something special.””

This seems pretty rad. I watch the “Top Chef” seasons, but have not seen “Just Desserts.” Anyone watch and have an opinion?
