Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery: The Frozen Yogurt Edition

According to our very own Sioux Falls Business Journal editor Jodi Schwan, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is now open on S. Louise Avenue. That makes four self-serve fro-yo places here in Sioux Falls. And that’s before the opening of the second Peachwave location opens up in the Empire Mall this December.

(in my best Count voice)
FIVE! FIVE Frozen Yogurt Places! Ah-Ah-Ah!

Now I’ve asked the question of whether Sioux Falls was really a seven sushi joint town (there are now even more), but this I have no questions about: there is no need for FIVE frozen yogurt places in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Where we normally have seven months of cold weather, soft serve ice cream fixtures that close seasonally and zero Thai restaurants (I’m not sure that last one really applies, but I hate it, so I’m throwing it in there).

Best of luck to all of them, and it’s certainly possible I’m wrong. But wow.

Anyway, if one was going to grab some frozen yogurt, which one do you all like best? I’ve only ever been to Cherry Berry, and it was fine. Is there really much of a difference?
