Over the weekend, I hit up The 18th Amendment with some friends for lunch, beers and football. Possibly not in that order, but still…
I’ve almost always had good food here, and there is often a special like the BOGO lunches or their football menu during NFL games. And the pizza is really quite good.
Knowing that, I ordered a stromboli sandwich with pepperoni, pepperoncini peppers and black/green olives. While too hot to eat when served, once it cooled down this was an awesome sandwich. The crisp, buttered dough was tasty and what’s not to like about pizza toppings in a sandwich?
It’s the basic idea behind Hot Pockets, but this is a grown up version I’m pretty sure you’ll like.
